Cambridge is very flat, making it great for cycling. That means there are more bicycles per head of population than anywhere else in Britain. The flatness also results in winds that blow right across the city and can be particularly strong between October and April. A warm coat will therefore be useful... and you'd better hold on to your hat! Cambridge is the driest place in the country. That said, you may still find an umbrella comes in useful because when it rains, it really does rain! It is generally a sunny place compared to many parts of the country, so even in November and December we are lucky to have lots of bright days. If you visit between May and September, you can expect a lot of sunshine and warm days.
Kaplan International Cambridge has a reputation for its exceptional level of teaching and student care. The school has a Director of Studies leading a team of qualified teachers. The emphasis is on building confidence and developing fluency in a very lively and authentic language context. At the end of the course all students are given a Certificate of Attendance.
