Introduction

Language in London specialises in helping you learn English for the real world, so that you can use your language skills socially, at work or as part of your studies. We are accredited by the British Council in England so you have a guarantee that what we promise, we deliver.
We have a range of courses that include General English, Intensive Express, Exam preparation and English for Work. Language in London is the first school in the world to win the British Council prize for innovation in English teaching for our unique ¡§Cultural Experience¡¨ course, where all the lessons take place in museums and galleries.
You can discover how we combine traditional teaching with intuitive technology, using Apple technology, to bring the real world into the classroom. All the classrooms are modern, bright and trendy, with Apple TV and iPads connection.

Location:

The school is in the centre of London, in an area of zone 1 called Bloomsbury. This is the heart of cultural and academic London, next to the British Museum and in the same street as the University of London. It is also less than two minutes from Oxford Street, the most famous shopping area in London.
You can easily walk to Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square and the rest of the West End, where you will find Londons famous nightlife, theatres and stores. Turn left or right out of Language in London and you will quickly find restaurants, cafes, bars and pubs. The two nearest underground stations are Tottenham Court Road (Northern and Central Lines) and Russell Square (Piccadilly Line). There are also many 24-hour buses which stop right in front of the school.

Teaching:

All our teachers are CELTA-certified and two hold the DELTA certificate. You will have support from an academic team that wants to help you improve your English and will make sure your lessons are stimulating and interesting. Each week you will have a tutorial with a teacher, which is a chance to review what you are studying and monitor your progress. We help you set realistic targets and give constant advice on your learning. In your last week at the school you will have an exit interview where you teacher will help you plan how you can continue learning English when you return to your country.
