Everything we do is designed to give our students a unique, once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Location:

The school is in the centre of Totnes town in the iconic Gate House building. You can explore the high street with many independent shops, restaurants, weekly or monthly markets as well as galleries and live music venues. Totnes Castle overlooks the town, which still has some original medieval city walls. The school itself sits on the site of the old East Gate.
Totnes is also an ideal starting point to discover the rest of Devon, with excellent transport links to the cities of Exeter and Plymouth. Dartmoor National Park and the beautiful South Devon coastline is just a few minutes away by car.

Teaching:

All our teachers are CELTA-certified and 3 hold the DELTA certificate. You will have support from an academic team that wants to help you improve your English and will make sure your lessons are stimulating and interesting. Each week you will have a tutorial with a teacher, which is a chance to review what you are studying and monitor your progress. We help you set realistic targets and give constant advice on your learning. In your last week at the school you will have an exit interview where you teacher will help you plan how you can continue learning English when you return to your country.
