Location:

London is one of the world's great cities. It is a city of contrasts: the lively night-life of the West End and the quiet peace of the beautiful parks; famous museums and busy shopping streets; ancient British traditions and a cosmopolitan atmosphere. London has something for everyone, from great theatres to world-class football teams!
Our London Central school is located in the very heart of London, just 5 minutes' walk from the British Museum. Also nearby you will find:
Covent Garden - famous for its market and shops, street entertainers, restaurants and bars
The Houses of Parliament
The West End - London's entertainment district, comprising theatres, restaurants, bars and nightclubs
The renowned shopping areas of Oxford Street and Regent Street
More museums, including the National Gallery, National Portrai Gallery and the Coutauld Institute of Art

Teaching:

At St Giles, we understand that different students have different needs. The St Giles "learner-centred" approach to teaching English enables our teachers to meet your individual needs. Courses cover practice in all four skill areas: reading, writing, speaking and listening. However, you will find the focus of our General English progammes is on speaking and listening - generally the main requirements of today's modern English speaker.
