University Rankings
Students should
be aware that there is no official government league table
of universities in the UK. The only official government ratings
are the "Research Ratings" and the "Teaching Assessment Ratings".
Undergraduate
Courses in the UK
Most undergraduate
courses in the UK are 3 years in length leading to bachelors
degrees (BA, BSc). Scotland is the exception where the education
system has more in common with the Taiwan system and bachelors
degrees are 4 years.
