Martin Pout is the Faculty International Recruitment Manager – The Faculty of Arts and Humanities and the Faculty of Social Sciences and Health. The role covers 15 Departments, 13 of which are ranked within the top 100 QS World Rankings, including the prestigious Durham Law School. He has an extensive background in academia, starting his teaching and research career at Loughborough University. Martin has lectured at a number of institutions including Teesside University, where for over a decade Martin was part of the senior management team; as a Dean with responsibility for Recruitment and International Development. Outside of academia he has held a number of senior positions including a Director role at a large regional law firm.
