University of Surrey
Established: 1966
Introduction
Situated in the heart of the wealthiest part of England in leafy Guildford, the University of Surrey is an excellent proposition. A compact campus, walking distance from the town centre and railway station and adjacent to the cathedral has fantastic facilities in a lovely setting. Business courses are to the fore here, but be aware that they offer probably the best hospitality and tourism courses in the country and a fine selection of science and education programmes. London is just 45 minutes away by train, so you truly can have the best of both worlds, study in the tranquility of Guildford by day and experience the bright lights of the capital by night. What could be better!
